"I can't recommend Sanika enough! When I first started working with her, I was feeling frustrated with my weight, struggling with back pain, irregular periods, and not feeling my best in my skin. However, Sanika helped me to turn it all around with a workout routine that was tailored specifically to my needs and schedule.
One of the things I appreciated most about working with Sanika was that she didn't impose any stringent diets or deprivation. "Having been a gym guy for 2 years before the pandemic, I didn't know much else other than regular gym workouts with machines. Working with Sanika changed all of that. She taught me several new concepts - mixed modal training, olympic moves, progressive overload, complex vs isolation moves and many many more.
She started off with making sure that my form was correct and that my weaknesses are strengthened and then after that there was no turning back. When we started, I was skeptical on how much we will truly be able to achieve with nothing more than 2 pairs of dumbbells and a pull up bar. Her workouts progressed rapidly and soon I was lifting heavier weights with better form for more reps and sets than I ever had before, all while working out at home with ZERO machines.
My endurance had reached levels I only had when I was a professional swimmer. In terms of aesthetics, I can safely say that this is the best I have ever looked. "I have been to countless dieticians, who all imposed very unsustainable diet plans. Rather than impossible diets, I was taught basic theory, given a simple list of dos, and do less off, with no restrictions.
Sanika made me understand the concept of treat meals, and no more cheat days and that negative connotation associated with food needs to go. She also introduced me to the concept of tracking my macros, which changed my life. Nutrition was a grey area for me & tracking my calories & macros changed the game for me.

d) approach to numbers - our focus has always been that tracking numbers are not a bad thing (weight, measurements, etc) if you’re not triggered by them. I’ve let numbers motivate me tremendously, but more importantly focused on how my clothes feel on me and how I feel in them!
This isn’t some crash diet/get fit quick scheme, I won’t lose my progress. I’ll just get back on it. As Sani says “Consistency is key”."
"As someone who has been overweight her whole life, I never thought that I could have a life where I can eat the cultural foods I love and still get healthy and lose weight. That was until I met Sanika, who has helped me transform my life and my relationship with food.
My weight had started to give me health issues such as fatty liver and joint pain in my bones, and I knew I had to make a change. Sanika approached my weight loss with a scientific approach to food and wellness, teaching me the importance of a high protein diet, and how to eat dessert and drink alcohol when going out to restaurants for meals.
She taught me how to track my calories. "Like many people, I struggled with weight gain during the pandemic. I put on 5-7 unwanted kilos, which made me feel sluggish and self-conscious. As a stage performer, looking and feeling my best is a big part of my job, and I was unsure of how to lose the weight I had gained.
